On this website – The Cutting Room – you can make videos using footage and outtakes generated during the production of the film Here for Life. These video fragments were selected using a computer algorithm that scanned nearly 500 hours of video based on the names of the cast members and recurring objects and actions. This is a project by Vera van de Seyp.
Here for Life is directed by Andrea Luka Zimmerman and Adrian Jackson and produced by Artangel. In a city framed by capital and loss, ten unruly Londoners navigate their wild and wayward way, travelling on their own terms towards a co-existence far stronger than ‘community’. An uncommon story told on common ground, Here for Life dances with a spirited grace and urgency, hovering between fiction and fact, attention and act.
From 30 March 2020, Here for Life is available for EST and TVOD in the UK across the majority of platforms including Sky, Amazon, Apple, iTunes, Google Play, Curzon and BFI Player.
